When most people think of Hawaiian paradise pictures often white-capped waves breaking on the beach, mild climate, lush tropical vegetation and a cool breeze from the coast. In Hawaii, the truth is much more than toga.Izlet in Hawaii will be a multi-cultural paradise with some of the best cultural events.

Although there are hundreds of cultural events and demonstrations held throughout the island throughout the year, many of them free, there are a couple that stand out from the rest. Two of the premiere festivals, at least in my opinion, the Honolulu Festival and the world famous Merrie Monarch Festival.

The separation of the two festivals in particular van, I do not mean to belittle any other. If you have the opportunity to attend any of the lesser-known festivals, parades, or events, you should take advantage of opportunities. While New Orleans is known as a party town with almost a week festivities, I think you will find that Hawaii is not very far behind.

Honolulu FESTIVAL (held in March)

These events are held throughout the Honolulu at Ala Moana Shopping Center, Honolulu Convention Center, a parade through Waikiki, and many of them are free. will give you insight into the Hawaii culture and heritage, combining some old with some of the new opening my eyes a true multi-cultural paradise.

MERRIAM MONARCH FESTIVAL (Held last week in April)

This highly anticipated annual celebration of Hawaiian culture will be held in Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii during the last week in April. is named in honor of King Kalakaua, who was known as the Merrie Monarch, and that many return to the pride and heritage of Hawaiian song and dance, which previously prohibited by the missionaries.

The purpose of this nonprofit organization is to promote and preserve Hawaiian music, dance and kulture.Tjedan-long event includes demonstrations, art exhibits, craft fair, a parade and ends with a hula competition is held on the last three days of the festival.

This event attracted entries from around the world. Winning in the Merrie Monarch Hula Competition is a very prestigious award. Tickets for this 3-day event is usually sold within days of going on sale the day after Christmas.

Of course, there are a number of additional parades and celebrations are held throughout the year in Hawaii. It was the day the King Kamehameha Day parade or a parade in Waikiki Kuhio place or one of the other festivals celebrated throughout the island, you'll enjoy the people, pride and a unique cultural mix these tropical islands.
